In the past 7 years, nearly 40,000 human subjects have gone through hydration testing at Fenestra Research. This testing clearly shows that the current state of the average human is not up to the challenge of processing and absorbing enough water, even if the correct amount of water is consumed daily, 94% of the nearly 40,000 people tested were found to be significantly dehydrated.
Why Is Hydration Important?
Hydration is the main solvent for vitamins and minerals
A well-hydrated system:
- Delivers nutrients to the cells
Delivers oxygen to the cells efficiently
Increases blood oxygen levels
Removes waste materials from the cells
Helps to remove toxic material from the liver & kidneys
Is critical for efficient function of energy-generating cycles
Provides electrical energy for brain function Is required for the synthesis of neurotransmitters
Can reduce depression, stress and anxiety
Can restore normal sleep cycles
Increases the efficiency of the immune system
Is required for the production of hormones
Can reduce PMS symptoms
Helps to regulate ocular pressure
May reduce the risk of heart attacks & strokes
Is necessary for all digestive functions
Helps to regulate adhesion index of blood cells
Can prevent constipation
Reduces the skin’s signs of aging
Aids in weight loss
Enhances joint flexibility and strength
Enhances athletic performance
How Cells Hydrate
Aquaporin (water) channels and ion channels are pathways found in proteins. The water channels form pores in the membranes of cells and selectively conduct water molecules through the cell membrane, while preventing the passage of ions (such as sodium and potassium) and other small molecules. Ions are directed through ion channels.
The discovery of aquaporins in 1988 was the result of research by Peter Agre from Johns Hopkins University, who won the 2003 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the discovery of water channels. The other half of the prize went to Roderick MacKinnon from Rockefeller University “for structural and mechanistic studies of ion channels.”
These discoveries contributed to fundamental chemical knowledge on how cells function to hydrate and oxygenate the body, one water molecule at a time. Stirwand™ technology non-invasively balances water chemistry to meet this criteria.
“They have opened our eyes to a fantastic family of molecular machines: channels, gates and valves all of which are needed for the cell to function.” – Swedish Academy of Sciences, Nobel Foundation.

Stirwands™ and Specific Gravity
Stirwands™ restore a special balance needed in water so that it can hydrate and oxygenate cell membranes to their fullest potential by making the energy and contents of the water molecule fully available to the cell’s aquaporins.
If your water does not have a very low specific gravity, you will not hydrate. Perfect specific gravity is 1.0, with the threshold being 1.009. Stirwands™ bring any potable water down to 1.002, and even brought horribly contaminated tap water down from 1.023 to 1.003. The specific gravity of most spring or purified water ranges from 1.011 to 1.015, well above the threshold.
